North Cascades National Park is an undersung gem in Washington State. The park has a highway going right through it, yet it’s one of the less-visited national parks in the PNW.
Lake Diablo has a cloudy teal color with a curving shoreline that makes it look almost like a puzzle piece just nestled right into the Cascade Mountains.
If you’re a hiker, there are a couple of hiking trails you can do through this part of the park as well.
Winthrop is located in the north-central part of Washington state, and it is such a fun little town, not to mention beautiful!
